In the tiny town of Brownwood, Texas, B.B. Hill
decided it was time for a change.

The entrepreneurial editor and publisher of the Brownwood Bulletin, Mr. Hill sold his newspaper and headed for Dallas. In 1925, he opened the doors of Hill Printing Company in downtown Dallas. Four generations later, Hill Print Solutions offers the same commitment to quality and personal service that has carried the company for more than 90 years.

The current owners still rely on the same traditions of hard work and dedication that made Hill a trusted business so many decades ago. Yet each generation has innovated, keeping Hill Print Solutions on the cutting edge of the on-demand printing industry.

We utilize state-of-the-art printing technology to produce our books. Our bookstore quality printing and binding equipment allow us to supply our customers with books they can be proud of.

Relationships

For four generations, Hill Print Solutions has built its business on relationships. In an era of hyper-competition when the price is the most important buying factor, it’s very important to have customers that understand the value of your brand’s quality and service attached to it.

We are not just book printers, we are consultants. We work with clients on a more personal level to guide you through the book printing process. We offer quick responses by email or phone, so nothing slips through the cracks.

How we are different…

difference

In recent years many companies have popped up on the internet offering “print on demand” or short to medium run book services for the self-publisher. Many of these companies promote rock bottom prices or claim that you will retain all the profits from the sale of your books.

Hill Print Solutions does not operate on a royalty-based system. Our goal is to provide self-publishers and publishing outfits of any size with high-quality book printing at an affordable price. We have an honest and up-front pricing system with no hidden costs or surprises. Furthermore, you will experience the personal service that you expect and deserve. We are not brokers. The books we produce are printed and bound in our Dallas, Texas facility.

Sustainability

We believe in sustainability

Sustainability is not just a word at Hill Print Solutions. It is a way of life and doing business. Just think of the hundreds of times a day we touch paper – newspapers, cereal boxes, streams of catalogs, mail, money, tissues, books, etc. Fortunately, the demand to sustainably produce these products, and countless others, is on the rise. All of our papers meet EPA standards of 30% post-consumer waste fiber and are Green Seal certified.

All excess paper waste is picked up from our plant each week and recycled. Hill Print Solutions operates in ways consistent with maintaining the quality of our environment, including routine recycling, using earth-friendly inks, and conserving water. We’ve invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in the past decade on energy-efficient equipment and internal systems to lessen our impact on the environment.
